For FIBA 3x3, Pixadoo delivered a live projection-mapping experience centered on real-time movement, spatial precision, and on-court dynamics at the venue in Bahrain. The narrative unfolded through performance-led visuals, beginning with floor projections of the sea from which the island of Bahrain emerged, transforming into a traditional village with sand textures, date palms, and pearl- toned hues. Live performers interacted with the mapped environment, using choreographed movement to reflect cultural roots and human connection. As the story progressed, projections transitioned to a twilight basketball court, where a live coach guided performers through synchronized training sequences, visually marking growth and the passage of time. The experience culminated in a high- energy half-court reveal featuring red-and-white floor projections, canopy visuals integrating live crowd feeds and Bahrain’s skyline, and LED poi artists enhancing motion with light trails synced to gameplay. The finale brought the FIBA 3x3 identity to life, with the canopy forming the event logo, the floor glowing in national colors, and dancers celebrating legacy, unity, and achievement.
